Day out at Chester Zoo

Rice makes an excellent sensory experience for

Our new and improved MUD KITCHEN is now open, lots of opportunity for messy and role play, making bug hotels and using nature to nurture.

Lots of sand, compost, pine cones, pebbles, shells ect for the children to explore

Home Corner including oriental, mexican and indian play food and equipment

Wide range of IT and Technology toys from birth+

Musical instruments for all ages, authentic drums, African shakers and much more for the children to explore

  All year round outdoor play with a wide range of outdoor resources for children to choose from enabling their learning and development in all areas, including physical, social, communication and language in a garden promoting wildlife, children's play inspired by nature to nurture.

Croxteth Park,

Liverpool where we regularly go to visit the Home Farm, the childrens play area and enjoy healthy walks taking views of the house and parkland on the way

 New Eco House complete with solar panels, windmill, recycling facilities and water butt 

Extensive range of books and puzzles are available to children for all ages and development stages. Reading and story books along with educational

books. I aim to provide resources that show disabilities and what a diverse community we live in.

All my activities are planned around the EYFS. I offer:

Outings to parks, places of interests, local childrens centre and sensory room,

Home Corner including food, role play, dressing up clothes and material for dens

Small world house, garage, castle, pirate ship

Large range of constructions with lego, duplo, sticklebricks and megablocks

Puzzles and Jigsaws to encourage maths, literacy in the community were we live,

Action figures

Malleable play

Water and sand

Large outdoor play including slides, climbers, rockers and trikes

Tents, tunnels, ball ponds

Planting and new life throughout the year

Cooking and baking

Community visits eg police, fire station, toddler groups, children centre activities

and much, much, more......

New photos will be updated regularly. I have a photo album which shows all my resources and how these are used within the EYFS framework. Photos of children enjoying my setting can be viewed by parents and carers visiting my setting, for safeguarding purposes I cannot show all photos on my site.
