
I have over 20 years Childminding experience and hold a Level 4 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Development a level 6 Diploma in Early Intervention and Family Support.
I am a proud Strategic Partner, Childminder lead for the Liverpool City Region and Beyond Early Years Stronger Practise Hub
I hold a compulsory First Aid Certificate and 2023 Safeguarding (lead professional) Certificate. I am also qualified level 2 in Food Safety, Health & Safety, Deaf Awareness, Equality and Inclusion and many more... I have recently completed a 10 month Personal Development Programme in Early Years PSED, Maths and Communication which has improved further my settings outcomes for children.


I am a member of the Childcare Alliance. I have strong admin and management experience which enable me to provide a professional service. When looking after children who's first language is not English, I work closely with parents to offer "first words" in their native or parents native language (eg Polish, Hungarian, Romanian). Children have their own "home photo books".

I have 2 years experience as a childminder network coordinator within a childrens centre which has enabled me to be trained in areas such as breastfeeding support, domestic violence and safeguarding as a lead professional.

I live with my husband and have three grown up children with regular visits from my grandchildren. We have a Cavalier spaniel dog who has an excellent temperament. I follow strict rules with my dog, never left alone with the children and has supervised contact with children throughout the day. The children adore her.

Homemade, nutritious meals within a healthy menu, (see sample) offered on a daily basis. I am aware of our environment and aim to use seasonal, local organic fruit and vegetables
along with free range and sustainable ingredients. I am to offer 5 of the recommended 5 a day fruit and veg portions per day and children have access to 1/3rd of a pint of milk daily. I am happy to work with parents on weaning, breastfeeding and all lunches are hot meals.
Free childcare for all 3 to 4 year olds, 15 and 30 hours per week subject to availability.

Environmental health inspection report, Sept 2020 said "you would have been a 5 star premises if childminders were included in the food hygiene rating system.....safety practices and food hygiene awareness you scored top marks"

2 minute walk to the junction of Queens Drive the main route to Childwall, Allerton and Broadgreen. 1 minute walk to bus stops offering a wide range of bus routes in and out of Liverpool City Centre, to and from West Derby, Croxteth, Knotty Ash and Prescot (10ab, 8, 9, 61 etc) Parents can leave their vehicles outside my property if they wish to use public transport.
I have parents who use my service who live in West Derby, Allerton, Childwall and Knotty Ash. I have references from parents located in Broadgreen, Croxteth and Old Swan.
